  SK하이닉스 주가하락과 주가상승한 인텔의 이유는 ? SK하이닉스가 인텔의 낸드 플래시 메모리 사업 부문을 10조3000억원에 인수했다고 20일 밝혔다. SK하이닉스는 이날 공시를 통해 “인텔의 옵테인 사업부를 제외한 낸드 사업 부문 전체를 10조3104억원에 인수한다”고 밝혔다. 인수 목적으로는 ‘낸드플래시 사업 경쟁력 강화’를 꼽았다. SK하이닉스는 보유 현금과 차입금을 통해 인수 자금을 조달할 예정이다. 인텔은 중앙처리장치(CPU) 등 비메모리 반도체를 주력으로 하지만, 낸드플래시 메모리 반도체도 생산한다. 중국 다롄에는 인텔의 낸드플래시 공장이 있다. 인텔은 작년 글로벌 낸드플래시 시장 점유율 9.5%를 차지하는 6위 업체다. 인텔은 최근 주력인 비메모리 사업에서 AMD의 추격을 받으며 흔들리고 있다. 7나노 공정 CPU 제품 개발에 문제가 생기며 기술력에서도 시장의 의심의 눈초리를 받고 있다. 업계에서는 인텔의 이번 낸드플래시 사업 매각을 ‘선택과 집중’ 차원으로 해석한다. 비주력인 메모리 반도체 사업을 깔끔하게 정리하고 흔들리는 주력 사업인 시스템반도체에 집중하려는 움직임이라는 것이다. SK하이닉스는 인텔 낸드플래시 사업을 통째로 인수하면서 단숨에 시장 2위로 올라섰다. SK하이닉스는 낸드플래시 사업에서 점유율 9.9%를 차지하며 5위였다. 하지만 인텔 점유율을 흡수하며 시장점유율 19.4%로 삼성전자(35.9%)에 이어 2위로 점프했다. SK하이닉스는 인텔 사업부 인수 소식이 알려진 이날 전날 대비 종가가 1.73% 하락했다. 10조 원이 넘는 인수가격이 단기적으로 재무적 부담이 될 수 있다고 판단한 것으로 보인다. 반면 19일(현지시간) 인텔 주가는 0.78%상승했다. 파이낸셜 타임스는 “인텔의 낸드플래시 사업부 매각은 비핵심경영활동을 줄이려는 인텔 전략의 일환”이라고 “인텔은 5세대(5G) 이동통신, 인공지능(AI) 분야 반도체 개발에 주력할 것”이라고 평했다. 올해 7월, 미국 반도체기업 아날로그디바이스가 경쟁사인 맥심인터그레이티드를 200억 달러에 인수하기로 합의했고, 9월에는 엔비디아가 반도체 설계기업 ARM을 인수하기로 해 ‘세기의 딜’이란 평가를 받았다. 또 인텔의 경쟁자로 부상하고 있는 미국 반도체기업 AMD도 특수 반도체 제조업체 자일링스를 300억 달러에 인수하기 위해 논의 중이다.
