    한국인공지능협회는 국내 AI 기술기업 300여 업체 및 전통산업 전문가 300여명과 함께 인공지능을 전통 산업에 융합하는 AI+X 사업 모델을 발굴하는 산업지능화 뉴딜 사업을 준비하고 있다. 이 사업은 국내 AI 기업과 사업모델이 글로벌 시장에 진출해 성장하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 화웨이는 여러 산업에 AI가 적용되고 확산될 수 있도록 풀-스택 AI 컴퓨팅 기반시설과 애플리케이션 솔루션을 제공하고 있다. 또 개방형 하드웨어, 오픈 소스 소프트웨어 및 파트너 지원을 기반으로 하는 어센드 컴퓨팅 산업을 구축하기 위해 여러 파트너들과 협력을 추구하고 있다. 김현철 한국인공지능협회장은 “이번 MOU 체결을 통해 한국화웨이와 협회가 함께 협력하여 AI 기업의 발굴과 성장, 새로운 AI 사업 모델 개발로 한국의 디지털 뉴딜을 새롭게 도약시키는 밑거름이 되기를 바란다”라며 “더불어 한국화웨이와 한국인공지능협회의 파트너쉽이 상호 신뢰 속에 더욱 발전하기를 기대한다”라고 말했다.

    ‘역대급 판매실적’ 포르쉐, 하반기 전기차 타이칸 출시예정 포르쉐의 전기 스포츠카 타이칸. 사진 포르쉐코리아 최근 판매량이 급등하고 있는 포르쉐코리아가 하반기 전기차 모델을 출시해 라인업 다양화에 나선다. 포르쉐코리아는 16일 서울 포르쉐 스튜디오 청담에서 기자간담회를 열고 올 연말 포르쉐 최초의 전기 스포츠카인 타이칸 4S를 국내 출시한다고 밝혔다. 타이칸은 테슬라 모델S와 함께 현재 고성능 전기차 부문을 대표하는 차종이다. 타이칸 4S는 최대 530마력 퍼포먼스 배터리와 571마력 퍼포먼스 배터리 플러스를 탑재한 두 개 배터리 용량으로 구성된다. 두 모델 모두 4초 안에 시속 100㎞에 도달한다. 1회 충전시 주행거리는 퍼포먼스 배터리 407㎞, 퍼포먼스 배터리 플러스 463㎞다. 가격은 1억4560만원이다. 홀가 게어만 포르쉐코리아 대표가 16일 서울 포르쉐 스튜디오 청담에서 열린 기자간담회에서 하반기 타이칸 출시를 발표하고 있다. 사진 포르쉐코리아 내년 하반기 국내 출시 예정국내 공개한 포르쉐 '타이칸 터보S'. 사진 포르쉐코리아 제공.포르쉐코리아가 8일, 순수 전기 스포츠카 ‘타이칸 터보S’를 국내 공개했다. 타이칸은 내년 하반기 국내 출시 예정이며 구체적인 일정과 가격 정보는 알려지지 않았다.포르쉐코리아는 이번 공개 행사에서 현 제품 포트폴리오 중 가장 강력한 모델로, 탁월한 성능, 순수한 디자인, 완전한 연결성, 그리고 일상적 사용성을 모두 갖춘 타이칸의 최상위 모델 타이칸 터보 S를 공개했다.이 자리에서 홀가 게어만 포르쉐코리아 대표는 “포르쉐 브랜드의 과거와 미래를 연결시키는 새로운 아이코닉 모델 타이칸을 아시아 국가 중 한국에서 최초로 선보일 수 있어 정말 기쁘다”며, “진정한 포르쉐를 약속했던 포르쉐의 첫번째 순수 전기차, 타이칸이 성공적으로 국내에서 런칭할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.지난 9월 포르쉐 AG는 ‘타이칸 터보 S’와 ‘타이칸 터보’를 시작으로, 엔트리 모델 ‘타이칸 4S’까지 연이어 선보이며 전기 스포츠카 제품 포트폴리오를 강화하고 있다.타이칸 터보 S는 런치 컨트롤과 함께 최대 761마력(761PS, 560kW)의 오버부스트 출력으로 정지상태에서 100km/h까지 가속하는데 2.8초가 걸린다.‘타이칸 터보’는 최대 680마력(680PS, 500kW)으로 3.2초가 소요된다. 주행 가능 거리는 WLTP 기준 터보 S가 412 킬로미터, 터보가 450킬로미터이며, 최고 속도는 모두 260km/h다. ‘타이칸 4S’는 최대 530마력(530PS, 390kW) 퍼포먼스 배터리와 571마력(571PS, 420kW) 퍼포먼스 배터리 플러스를 탑재한 두 개 배터리 용량으로 구성된다. 두 모델 모두 정지 상태에서 100km/h까지 가속하는데 단 4초가 소요되며, 최고 속도는 250km/h다. WLTP 기준 주행 가능 거리는 퍼포먼스 배터리가 407킬로미터, 퍼포먼스 배터리 플러스가 463킬로미터다.타이칸은 기존 전기차의 일반적인 400 볼트 대신 800 볼트 전압 시스템을 최초 적용해, 도로 위 급속 충전 네트워크의 직류(DC) 에너지를 활용해 단 5분 충전으로 최대 100km까지 주행 가능하다. 최적의 조건에서 최대 270kW 고출력으로 22분 30초 이내에 배터리 잔량 5퍼센트에서 80퍼센트까지 충전할 수 있다.스포츠카의 탁월한 성능과 지속적으로 사용할 수 있는 출력 역시 타이칸의 강점이다. 리어 액슬의 2단 변속기도 혁신 요소이며, 1단 기어는 정지상태에서 출발할 때 가속력을 전달하고, 2단 기어는 고속에서도 높은 효율과 출력을 보장한다. 특히, 2개의 전기 모터와 에너지 회수 시스템을 갖춘 사륜 구동 제어 방식은 독특하다. 타이칸은 최대 265kW까지 가능한 에너지 회수 시스템 덕분에, 일상 생활 속 제동의 약 90퍼센트를 실제 브레이크 작동 없이 회생 제동만으로 가능하다.국내 공개한 포르쉐 '타이칸 터보S'와 함께 한 홀가 게어만 포르쉐코리아 대표. 사진 포르쉐코리아 제공.이날 포르쉐코리아는 타이칸 사전 공개에 맞춰 전동화 시대를 선도하기 위한 혁신적인 ‘포르쉐 E-모빌리티(Porsche E-Mobility)’ 전략에 대해서도 발표했다.포르쉐는 미래 스포츠카의 기준을 새롭게 제시하는 타이칸을 필두로, 60억 유로 투자, 포르쉐 생산 4.0 도입, 새로운 디지털 및 비즈니스 전략 등의 ‘전략 2025’를 목표로 하는 미래 전동화 전략에 더욱 집중한다는 계획이다.포르쉐는 변화하는 모빌리티 트렌드에도 파워, 효율, 다이내믹이라는 포르쉐 고유의 퍼포먼스를 그대로 유지하는 제품 전략을 강조한다. 가솔린 모델의 지속 가능한 개발, 플러그인 하이브리드 라인업 확대, 순수 전기차 생산 등 큰 세 축을 통해, 2025년까지 포르쉐 차량 65%에 전기 구동 시스템을 탑재하고, 2028년까지는 89%를 하이브리드와 전기차로 구성할 계획이다.또한, 정통 모터스포츠 기술에 뿌리를 둔 포르쉐는 자사 포뮬러 E 머신 ‘포르쉐 99X 일렉트릭(Porsche 99X Electric)’과 함께 2019/2020 시즌 ABB FIA 포뮬러 E 챔피언십에 도전하며 혁신적인 E-드라이브 테크놀로지를 입증할 예정이다.포르쉐코리아 역시 내년 하반기 타이칸 출시를 목표로 전동화 시대를 선제적으로 대비하고 있다. 대영채비와 함께 전국 9개 포르쉐 센터 외 전국 10여 개의 주요 장소에 국내 최초 320kW 초급속 충전기(High Power Charger)를 준비 중이며, 전국 120여 장소(Destination Charging)에 완속 충전기(AC Charger)를 설치할 계획이다.

    Bankrupt Hertz shares halted as SEC questions controversial stock sale Shares of car rental company Hertz, which have become a hot stock for small investors since it filed for bankruptcy last month, were halted on Wednesday pending news. The stock was halted at 11:44 am at $1.94 a share after Jay Clayton, chairman of the powerful Securities and Exchange Commission, went on national television to make it clear that the SEC has concerns about the company’s plans to raise money by selling more potentially worthless stock. “In this particular situation we have let the company know that we have comments on their disclosure,” SEC Chairman Jay Clayton said Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.” Clayton then suggested that the planned stock sale may not go forward this week as planned, or at least until regulators’ concerns are answered. “In most cases when you let a company know that the SEC has comments on their disclosure they do not go forward until those comments are resolved,” Clayton said. Hertz on Monday told the SEC that it plans seek to sell $500 million in stock after receiving approval for the sale from a bankruptcy judge on Friday. Hertz has said it is turning to a stock sale to raise money amid unusual trading that has resulted in skyrocketing demand for its shares. At one point, the stock jumped to $5.50 a share — a 100 percent gain from where it had been trading leading up to its bankruptcy. As the company acknowledged in its SEC filing on Monday, investing in a bankrupt Hertz is risky. “Although we cannot predict how our common stock will be treated under a plan, we expect that common stock holders would not receive a recovery through any plan unless the holders of more senior claims and interests, such as secured and unsecured indebtedness (which is currently trading at a significant discount), are paid in full, which would require a significant and rapid and currently unanticipated improvement in business conditions to pre-COVID-19 or close to pre-COVID-19 levels,” the filing said. One Hertz lender speculated that Hertz could announce an end to its controversial stock sale. The company at this point has no plan to re-emerge from bankruptcy, or how to reorganize its operations, the lender said. Hertz needs money to restart operations and has not yet arranged what’s known as Debtor-In-Possession financing which is typical of most bankrupt companies. Instead, its advisors including investment bank Moelis & Co. and law firm White & Case advised it to sell shares in its suddenly resurgent stock, the lender said. The Hertz board then approved the move, Hertz said in bankruptcy court. “No, the current Hertz shares have no real value,” the lender said. “I just think this is insane.” The company has about $900 million in cash and owes at least $1 billion now to the lenders that financed its leases of roughly 500,000 cars. Hertz on May 4 missed a payment of roughly $400 million to those lenders which caused its bankruptcy filing, and was scheduled to make another payment earlier this month. In bankruptcy court, Hertz is arguing it should be able to reject some of its car leases, while the lenders to the cars believe Hertz needs to reject all of them or none. “Hertz is trying to agree to a smaller amount of leases,” the lender said. Regardless, Hertz needs money to pay the auto lease lenders, or if it rejects all the leases needs funds to lease another fleet of cars. “They may need $1 billion or more than it has now to operate,” the lender said.

The social network said the defendant in the US lawsuit operated a data scraping service, called “Massroot8,” which improperly collected data by asking users to provide their Facebook login credentials. The defendants in the European lawsuit operated a Spain-based fake engagement service that provided automation software to receive fake likes and comments on Instagram, Facebook said. “This is one of the first times a social media company is using coordinated, multi-jurisdictional litigation to enforce its terms and protect its users,” the company said here in a blog post. Shares of the company, helmed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, were trading basically flat on Thursday afternoon, at $235.47.
